- I am Nazrul Islam.I born in Khulna, Bangladesh. I have started my photography career as a freelancer in 1994. Now, I am working as a photojournalist with experience in portraits, corporate portfolios, photojournalism and documentary photography. As a photographer, my main interests lie in people, society, nature and environment such as portraits, culture, landscapes, sports, agriculture, topics with historical significance and other different categories. In 2006,I was awarded as honourable mrntion on SAARC Charter Day, organised by the SAARC's Agricultural Information Center campus in Bangladesh. I have also been awarded honourable mention for my photographs on the historical sites of Bangladesh in a photography competition in 2007, organised by Maati Imagine Bangladesh.
